Are You Ready? is a multiplayer game at ruready.app. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it minimal: we don't sell your data, and we don't use third-party advertising or tracking.

Playing as a guest

You can play without an account. You pick a display name, which is stored on your device and shown to other players in your match. We don't collect personal information from guests beyond what's needed to run the current match.

If you sign in (optional)

Signing in unlocks saved stats, leaderboards, and friends. We use Supabase for authentication (Google, Apple, or an email magic link). For signed-in players we store:

• your account identifier and email (from your sign-in provider);
• your chosen username and avatar;
• game stats — wins, losses, streaks, XP, level, in-game currency (PowerPoints), achievements, match results, and reaction times;
• your friends list.

Notifications

The game is delivered by push notification. If you enable alerts, we store a push subscription/token for your device(s) so we can send the "ARE YOU READY?" prompt. You can turn notifications off anytime in your device or browser settings.

How we use your data

Only to run the game: matchmaking, turns and notifications, your stats and leaderboards, and to keep the service working. That's it.

Who we share it with

Your data is stored on our own server and in our database/auth provider (Supabase). Push notifications are delivered through your browser or operating system's push service. We don't share your data with anyone else.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep account data until you ask us to remove it. To delete your account and associated data, email support@ruready.app.

Children

Are You Ready? is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the current version.
